La Asociación de Prensa extranjera en Hollywood dio a conocer la lista de nominados para la 69 entrega de los Golden Globe Awards a celebrarse como ya es tradición, en el Beverly Hilton Hotel el próximo domingo 15 de enero a partir de las 18:00 horas y será transmitida en Latinoamérica únicamente por TNT.
La cinta con más nominaciones es The Artist con 6, entre los rubros de mejor Película, Guión, Director, Actor de Comedia / Musical, Actriz Secundaria y Mejor Banda Sonora.
Una de las categorías más disputadas es la de mejor director de un filme, ya que Martin Scorsese (Hugo), Woody Allen (Midnight in Paris), George Clooney (The Ides of March), Michael Hazavicius (The Artist) y Alexander Payne (The Descendants) se enfrentan cara a cara.
En cuanto a televisión, en la categoría de mejor comedia, se disputan Enlightened, Episodes (i.SAT), Glee, Modern Family y New Girl el llevarse la estatuilla, mientras que en el rubro de mejor actor de comedia compiten Alec Baldwin (30 Rock), David Duchovny, (Californication, i.SAT), Johnny Galecki (The Big Bang Theory, Warner), Thomas Jane (Hung) y Matt LeBlanc (Episodes, i.SAT).
Entre las nominadas a mejor actriz en una comedia están Sofía Vergara (Modern Family), Tina Fey (30 Rock), Laura Dern (Enlightened), Laura Linney (The Big C9) y Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreaton)
En cuanto a la categoría de mejor película extranjera, el favorito es Pedro Almodovar por la cinta “La piel que habito” (España), que compite con “A separation” (Irán), “The flowers of war” (China), “In the land of blood and honey” (EE.UU.) y “Le gamin au velo” (Bélgica)
El actor Morgan Freeman es una de las figuras más populares dentro del mundo cinematográfico. Las cintas en las que ha aparecido han sido de las más reconocidas tanto por los críticos, como por el público, colocándolo en la décima posición del ranking mundial de los actores que dejan más ganancias. Es por eso que se hace acreedor al reconocimiento Cecil B. Demille, presea que se entrega cada año a las celebridades que han impactado al mundo del entretenimiento.
